Coleman C300 Performance Gas Cartridge -EN417
The Coleman C300 Performance gas cartridge offers a 240g butane/propane gas mixture, providing a steady and consistent burn across a wide range of temperatures at lower altitudes making it ideal for more general use.
One of the key reasons why a Butane /Propane mix is important, you may find in colder temperatures that your Butane gas canister does not perform, butane will freeze at low temperatures, where as Propane will continue to perform even in artic conditions.
The Coleman C300 is the same fitting as the Coleman C500 gas canister but is physically smaller and holds less gas than a C500. So if your pack size and weight is important, then the C300 is a good alternative.
The cartridge incorporates a standard screw-on attachment making it an ideal fuel source for Coleman camping stoves and lanterns as well as any gas appliance which uses a standard screw thread valve EN417.
As the C300 gas canister is EN417 approved it will also fit any other make of gas appliance which can be connected via a screw thread valve system.
Features Coleman's double safety seal resealable valve the cartridge can be disconnected and reconnected to your appliance in complete safety without any leaks.
The C300 is not suitable and cannot be used with Campingaz products which use the Easy Clic Plus system.

Yes, it is the same gas, but the C300 is a smaller cannister in terms of weight and size, but still uses the same threaded valve as on a C500.
Why can't I use the Coleman C300 on my Campingaz lantern ?
A Coleman gas canister has a different valve system, than on a Campingaz CV product. Campingaz CV products use a click system and not a threaded valve system, so unfortunately you cannot interchange the canisters, as they won't fit.
