Calor Gas introduced Patio gas to their range of Gas cylinders due to the demand for Patio heaters and Gas BBQ. Although a Green Bottle it is  a propane bottle but uses a clip on regulator 27mm.
  • Dimensions : Height-580mm Diameter-315mm
  • For gas BBQ and patio heaters
  • Regulator type: 27mm Clip on
  • Recommended Offtake : 15 kW (1.05 kg/h)

What is the difference between Propane and Butane gas ?

LPG boils to produce gas (vapour):

  • Propane boils at -42°C so can be used in arctic conditions.
  • Butane boils at -0.5°C so when the ambient temperature falls to around freezing no gas is produced and even at around +4°C the pressure is often too low to be useful.
